⚡Quick verdict

Independent IPTV services in the UK mostly charge £10 to £16 for one month and £50 to £70 for a year, for one screen. Ours is £11.99 a month or £64.99 a year (£5.42 a month). Extra screens add to that. Add your TV licence (£180 a year) and a streaming stick if your TV is old.

  • A full year usually costs about half as much per month as rolling monthly.
  • Be wary of “was” prices: crossed-out figures that were never charged are a warning sign.
  • Licensed sport alone (Sky Sports, TNT Sports) costs far more each month.

Typical UK prices in autumn 2026

We looked at the prices published by UK-facing IPTV sellers in October 2026. One-screen prices cluster tightly:

Length Usual range Telly Hub TV
1 month £12.99 to £15.99 £11.99
3 months £24 to £30 £29.99
6 months £35 to £45 £44.99
12 months £49.99 to £69 £64.99

We are not the cheapest on the list, and we do not want to be. Prices far below this range usually mean a service that will not last the year.

What else you might pay for

  • TV licence: £180 a year if anyone watches live TV, on any device. IPTV changes nothing here.
  • A streaming stick: only if your TV cannot run a player app. A Fire TV Stick costs about £30 to £60 depending on model and offers.
  • A paid player app: some apps, TiviMate Premium for example, charge a small yearly fee for extra features. Free apps work fine.
  • More screens: each extra screen watching at the same moment costs more. Our plans page shows every combination.

How it compares with licensed TV

Service Monthly price
Sky Sports with Essential TV £35 and up, two-year contract
TNT Sports £30.99
NOW Sports month £34.99
DAZN £24.99 rolling
Netflix Standard £13.99

Sky and TNT pay for the rights they show; that is what the price buys. Our savings slider lets you put in your own bill and see the difference, with the trade-offs explained on the comparison pages.

Spotting a fake bargain

Three signs that a price is not what it seems: a “was £189.99” figure the seller never charged, a countdown timer that resets when you reload the page, and “12 months + 6 free” offers from a business with no company details. All three were common on UK IPTV sites when we checked.

More questions

Why is IPTV so much cheaper than Sky?
Sky pays billions for sports rights and makes its own programmes. Independent services do not carry those costs, which is exactly why the licensing question matters. Read our page on the law before you decide.
Is there a contract?
Not with us. You pay once for the length you choose and nothing renews automatically. Many sellers do set up repeat payments, so check before paying.
How much is a second screen?
With Telly Hub TV, two screens cost £16.99 for a month or £94.99 for a year. The full grid of sixteen prices is on our plans page.
