⚡Quick verdict

We sell IPTV, so every page here has a conflict of interest, and we say so. To keep the guides useful anyway, each page answers one question, links facts to primary sources such as legislation.gov.uk and rights holders, shows the date it was checked, and gets corrected openly when something changes. Software tools help draft and check; a person signs off.

  • Facts link to the source, with the date we checked it.
  • Prices and rights deals are reviewed whenever they change.
  • Corrections: email us and we fix it, usually within a day.

Our conflict of interest

Telly Hub TV makes money from IPTV plans. That colours everything we write about IPTV, the law and our competitors. We deal with it by putting the evidence in front of you, saying where licensed services are the better choice, and never claiming certainty we do not have.

The rules each page follows

  1. One question per page, answered in the quick verdict at the top, in 35 to 75 words.
  2. Primary sources first: legislation, court reports, regulators, rights holders and broadcasters, then reputable trade press.
  3. Dates on everything: the page shows when its facts were last checked, and each reference shows when it was read.
  4. Numbers from one place: prices and figures sit in one data file, so a change updates every page at once.
  5. Plain British English, short sentences, no sales filler.
  6. No invented people: no fake reviews, testimonials, experts or customer counts.

Tools we use

Drafts may be prepared with the help of software, including AI writing tools. A person checks each fact against the linked source before a page goes live, and automated checks block US spellings, filler phrases and claims we have banned, such as “100% legal”.

Data we publish

Language figures come from Census 2021 (ONS, via Nomis) and population figures from ONS mid-year estimates, both under the Open Government Licence. Fixtures come from TheSportsDB, posters from iTunes and TVmaze, and photos from Wikimedia Commons with the author and licence shown.
