⚡Quick verdict

Most IPTV scams in the UK follow a few patterns: a lifetime deal from a seller about to vanish, a copy of a real site, payment by gift card or crypto only, fake support that asks for codes, and free apps that harvest your details. Pay by card or PayPal, take a trial first, and report scams to Action Fraud.

  • Nobody genuine asks for gift cards or one-time bank codes.
  • Lifetime and two-year deals carry the most risk.
  • Report to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or online.

Seven tricks to know

  1. The lifetime deal. “Pay £99 once, watch forever.” Forever often lasts until the next big sale.
  2. The cloned site. A copy of a known seller’s site on a slightly different address, taking payments that go nowhere.
  3. Gift cards only. A request to pay with Amazon, Apple or Steam vouchers. No genuine seller does this.
  4. Fake support. Someone messages you claiming to be your provider’s help desk and asks for a bank code “to verify your renewal”.
  5. The free-app catch. An app with free channels that wants permission to read your contacts, messages or location.
  6. The fake reseller. A “panel” that promises you can resell IPTV for profit if you buy credits up front.
  7. Fake urgency. A countdown timer that resets every time you reload the page.

More questions

I paid and got nothing. What can I do?
Card payments can be clawed back through a chargeback request to your bank; with PayPal, open a dispute. Then report it to Action Fraud. Bank transfers are harder to recover, but tell your bank at once.
How do I know this site is really Telly Hub TV?
Our only address is tellyhub.uk, and our email ends in @tellyhub.uk. We never ask for card numbers on WhatsApp or for one-time codes.
Are IPTV apps on Google Play safe?
Player apps from known developers are. Apps that come with built-in free channels are a different thing: many carry adverts, trackers or unlicensed streams.
