⚡Quick verdict
Netflix and Telly Hub TV are not really rivals. Netflix is an on-demand library of its own series and films, from £7.99 a month with adverts to £20.99 for 4K. Telly Hub TV is mainly live channels and sport with a large film library alongside. Many homes keep Netflix for its originals and use IPTV for live TV.
- Netflix has no live UK channels and almost no live sport.
- Netflix originals are only on Netflix.
- No TV licence is needed for Netflix alone; live TV on any service needs one.

Different jobs
Netflix is where Stranger Things, The Crown and Bridgerton live. Nothing else has them. Telly Hub TV is where you watch tonight’s football, the evening news and a channel from home. The overlap is mostly in older films and series.
