⚡Quick verdict
Your plan's screens are the number of streams that can play at the same moment, anywhere. You can share with family in another house as long as the total watching at once stays within your screens. When one stream too many starts, the newest is refused with a “max connections” message, and the ones already playing carry on.
- Install everywhere; count only what plays at once.
- Paused players can still hold a screen; close the app fully.
- Match days are when households hit their limit.
How screens are counted
| Situation | Uses a screen? |
|---|---|
| App installed, closed | No |
| App open on the menu | Usually no |
| Channel or film playing | Yes |
| Paused stream | Often yes, for a while |
| Multi-screen view of four channels | Yes, four |
Sharing with another house
Give the other household the same log-in. Agree who watches when on busy days, or choose enough screens for both homes. Our plans page shows the cost of each extra screen.
Avoiding match-day clashes
- Close players fully on devices nobody is watching.
- Turn off auto-play of the last channel on start-up in the player’s settings.
- If two people want different games at 8pm, that is two screens however you share it.
